Artist D4vd Supposedly Named as Person of Interest in Death of Adolescent Discovered in Tesla
The artist known as D4vd was named as a suspect in the tragic passing of Celeste Rivas, a young girl who disappeared and was later located deceased inside the musician's Tesla automobile earlier this year, according to police.
Location of the Body
The decomposed remains of Rivas, 15, was discovered in this past autumn inside the frunk of a ebony Tesla registered to D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke. The vehicle had been ticketed in a Hollywood Hills and subsequently impounded at a vehicle storage facility in the metropolitan area.
Timeline of Incidents
Investigators theorize that Rivas likely succumbed in the earlier part of the year, adding that D4vd had probably helped in dismembering and getting rid of the corpse. This singer has been uncooperative in the inquiry, according to a official source.
The teenager Rivas was initially declared missing from a city 60 miles from Los Angeles in spring 2024. The remains was later located in the artist's Tesla after staff at Hollywood Tow reported a strong stench originating from the automobile.
Probe and Authoritative Remarks
This fatal cause has yet to be determined, but the coroner's office remarked that Rivas “appears to have been deceased inside the car for an extended period before being found.” Police are treating her passing as a murder.
Details on the Singer
The Houston musician had been issued a citation in the Los Angeles neighborhood just 11 days before Rivas was discovered in the automobile, after overstaying the short-term parking limit. Residents in the neighborhood reported that the Tesla had been left in the neighborhood for several weeks.
Rivas's family member stated that the family was aware that Rivas had a connection to the singer and that she was headed to attend a cinema with him just before she disappeared.
D4vd, referred to as “David,” is a NY-native musician known for the chart-toppers “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.” D4vd and his agent were residing at a Los Angeles home in the Hollywood area in the fall, per the home's landlord, until authorities entered the property.
D4vd has contracted with Darkroom and Interscope. The artist was engaged in a concert series at the period Rivas's corpse were discovered, but cancelled those shows subsequent to the discovery of Rivas's corpse.
