The developers of CloverPit attribute the game's success to its popularity with live streamers like Vinesauce and Northerlion, who, collectively, assisted CloverPit briefly attract a larger audience on the service than Fortnite. However additional elements, like the attention surrounding the title's launch timing and offering CloverPit in a cheaper bundle that includes Balatro probably enhanced the title's exposure too. It's been enough of a major hit that CloverPit has even inspired imitators on mobile devices.
